About Zodiac Signs
Zodiac signs are groups of stars that form images or patterns when viewed in the sky. They have fascinated humanity for thousands of years and have led to many stories and legends in different cultures. There are a total of 88 official constellations as defined by the International Astronomical Union, but the 12 we most often encounter in astrology are also called sun signs or zodiacal signs.
Each of these 12 zodiac signs corresponds to a certain period of the year and is associated with unique traits and personality characteristics. They are as follows:
- Aries (March 21 - April 19): Aries is the first sign of the zodiac and is known for its courage, determination, and energy.
- Taurus (April 20 - May 20): Taurus is known for its reliability, patience, and dedication.
- Gemini (May 21 - June 20): Gemini is associated with adaptability, curiosity, and eagerness to learn.
- Cancer (June 21 - July 22): Cancer is known for its emotional depth, sensitivity, and caring nature.
- Leo (July 23 - August 22): Leo is known for its strength, confidence, and courage.
- Virgo (August 23 - September 22): Virgo is associated with meticulousness, organization, and practical skills.
- Libra (September 23 - October 22): Libra is known for its diplomacy, harmony, and peace-loving nature.
- Scorpio (October 23 - November 21): Scorpio is associated with intensity, passion, and mystery.
- Sagittarius (November 22 - December 21): Sagittarius is known for its optimism, adventurousness, and philosophical nature.
- Capricorn (December 22 - January 19): Capricorn is associated with ambition, discipline, and patience.
- Aquarius (January 20 - February 18): Aquarius is known for its individualism, inventiveness, and progressiveness.

While these zodiac signs are traditionally used in astrological predictions, they are also used as cultural references and are an important part of our collective imagination. However, it is important to remember that zodiac signs and astrology have no scientific basis, and they mainly serve as entertainment and self-reflection.
